The Landscape Institute North West branch is kick-starting the LI’s Rainbow Places initiative for landscape professionals who identify as LGBTQ+. Together with BuildingEquality, Architecture LGBT+, and LGBT Property Professionals, the branch will transform Monday 20 January – otherwise known as ‘Blue Monday’, anecdotally the most depressing day of the year – into an evening of award-winning comedy and thought-provoking discussion. Featuring stand-up comedian John Pendal, the event will shine a light on mental health and aim to provide visibility, advice and guidance. John’s award-winning show, MONSTER, is aimed at anyone struggling to feel good about themselves. The evening follows a shy Baptist boy from Watford who is full of shame.
