influencing current thinking on issues affecting landscape is vital.<\/p><p>We want governments to consider how landscape can deliver benefits for society, the economy and the environment.<\/p><p>We do this in different ways, including responding to policy consultations and developing relationships with relevant stakeholders.<\/p><p>Our work is member-led, and is overseen by the LI Policy Committee. The Policy Committee is one of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/landscapeinstitute.org\/li-committees\/\">LI\u2019s three standing committees<\/a>, which report to our Board of Trustees.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a3dee6c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a3dee6c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Past policy work\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f5e2a19 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f5e2a19\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The LI is currently in the process of developing a better archive of our previous policy publications. The ELC calls for policy that considers and is adapted according to the landscape type.<\/p><p>The ELC, which is the first international treaty dedicated to the protection, management and planning of all landscapes in Europe, has 18 articles.
